I am a small business owner that is
wondering about upgrading. I now have a 3 yr. old Acer P-90 system, and it
does what I need.
What I am wondering is: some local places are running ads for complete
Celeron or AMD K6 CPU systems in the 400 to 500Mhz range for under $1000.
I am willing to spend that much, but would I see a big difference in
speed?
Check out our CPU
Comparator to see the difference. You would be looking at an increase
in speed of at least 5 times what your ageing Pentium can muster.
A new machine would also offer faster memory, faster graphics, and a
bigger and faster hard drive. Trust me-- you would notice the difference!
