Dear CPU Scorekeeper

I am trying to find out info on benchmarks for running Win98SE with dual processor PIII's - such as PIII-600's.

Any info?

Obtaining comparative benchmarks from a dual Pentium-III system running Windows98SE would be a pointless exercise, as Windows9x will not utilise multiple processors, even if more than one is present.

Dual Pentium-III configurations are a staple of workstations and small servers, but to get full SMP benefit, you need to run either Windows2000, Linux, or another server-capable operating system.

That being said, BareFeats.com recently published some dual PIII-600 (running WinNT) benchmark comparisons against an Athlon-800 and a G4-400 system. Check them out here.
