It's impossible that the Celeron-500 is
slower than a K6-III 400 if you consider that its FPU is similar to that
of a Pentium III. In reality, the Celeron-500 should whip the K6-III 400's
ass when it comes to high end applications...
You are correct in stating that the
Celeron-500 performs FPU functions faster than the K6-III 400. However,
the CPU Scorecard score is based on
